Introduce environmental issues in your curriculum!
Nowadays, the impact of climate change on our marine ecosystems is a major concern for all
of us and particularly for future generations. To raise awareness
among students, the EUR-OCEANS team invites teachers to carry out projects
on this topic and to participate in different activities.
Through the educational programme EUR-OCEANS aims to provide tools to teach students about the impact
of climate change on the oceans, which can also be tailored to meet the individual needs and interests
of your school.
Educational objectives
Make young audiences aware of the impact of climate change on marine ecosystems and resources.
Bring pupils closer to the research community by introducing them to scientific methods and activities.
Allow pupils to become familiar with the techniques used by oceanographers in the field.
Stimulate exchange between schools and classes across Europe.
